Nibbly Quibbly the Goat

Spotlight Theme – What’s in a Name?

This month we are focusing on the theme of our story, Nibbly Quibbly the Goat.  Let’s start with some discussion questions for you to share with your little listener after you have heard the story.

Discussion Questions

Jar full of question marks
  • Do you think Nibbly Quibbly is a good name for this goat? Why?
  • Can you remember which animals had the following names: Runny Bunny, Grumbly Rumbly, and Howly Prowly?
  • See if you can make up some funny names for these animals: a duck, an owl, a tiger, and a sheep.  (Hint – think of the sounds these animals make )
  • Do you know what your name means?
  • What do you think this story’s souvenir is?

Here are some other stories from our podcast where names are very important.
